Busy Bee and Butterfly Class
Harborland Trip

Busy Bee and Butterfly Class had a fabulous trip on Friday to Harborland, Little land and Jump XL. The children really managed their fears climbing in the soft play area, whizzing down slides, climbing along rope bridges and racing around with their friends. They all painted a figure to take home with them. In Little Land the children were very busy builders, working in teams to build houses, delivery boats and moving the blocks around in wheel barrows. They developed a huge amount of collaborative skills and problem solving to put the blocks together so they held firm. Our final stop was Jump XL where the children were extra springy on the trampolines, some children managed to do the splits in the air, some could jump and sit down, one group enjoyed the hot potato game and some were enjoying the freedom of bouncing up and down next to their friends. This was a fabulous day of extending their physical development learning experience of balancing, moving over, under and through obstacles; managing their risks and exploring moving in different ways. A super day had by all!!

Here are some of the pictures from the day - the children were so busy it was hard to get non-blurry shots of them!!
