Ms. Cathie

Dear parents and care-givers,

As you all know I broke my ankle last week during a game of netball. It is in a plaster cast and I am walking on crutches. I had a check up yesterday with the doctor and they have told me I need to continue to rest my ankle and keep it elevated at all times so it has time to heal.

This is not the news I wanted to hear as I am desperate to get back into the classroom and be with the children. Ms Elyssa has kindly had both classes of children together as we cover the same learning and activities. For next week I will need to remain at home with my foot elevated. Ms Elyssa will have both classes for the week along with Khun Poy and Khun Lotus. The children will join together for a library book change on Tuesday and P.E on Wednesday and Thursday. I am hoping  to be back in class for the beginning of the next half term, still on crutches but hopefully with the cast off.

I can only apologise for this and I look forward to when I can be back with the children and more mobile. I will certainly not be playing netball again!

Thank you for your understanding.

Best wishes

Cathie Walsh
